Two Days in Maastricht.

My first blog post… Let’s get started by talking about my weekend! I went to Maastricht for two days: from Saturday until Sunday. It is a city in the Netherlands that is especially known for its shopping streets. And who doesn’t like that, right? When arrived, the first thing I saw was indeed a landscape of people in busy buying-mood. I even discovered a shop I didn’t know before: Jeans Centre ( ). You could buy one jeans and get the second one for half the price, so hurry! J. But Maastricht is so much more than just a shopping paradise. Here are a few of the great places I discovered:

©        Scusi: an Italian restaurant with great pasta’s. The average price of a big plate of pasta is € 15, and you sure get great value for it. Closed on Sunday and Monday.!/scusi.maastricht

©        When you pass the place Zondag, which means “Sunday”, during the day, it looks like one of the many places where you can drink a coffee and eat a piece of cake. But when the sun goes down, it transfers into a dance floor where you can enjoy nice drinks, fun people and electronic music, brought to you live through a synthesizer and turntables.

©        If you prefer a more quiet Saturday night, you can drink a beer in ’t Zeezicht, a little bar with smiling waitresses and “the most cosy smoking room of Maastricht”. In de boonte kooy opened 3 weeks ago and is a pub with extremely friendly and motivated owners.

I spend the night in the Apart Randwyck Hotel: helpful hostesses, a good breakfast and one of the most comfy beds I’ve ever slept in!
